Mikrosperma beans


Mikrosperma beans are a relatively new variety to be cultivated in Prespes, North West Greece.

Their exceptional taste, thin skin, fast cooking time (30-35 minutes) and high nutritional value make them an essential part of the famous Mediterranean diet, which is why they are so popular - like all Prespa’s varieties.

The Mikrosperma stand out from other small beans due to their brightness, their convenient cooking-time and of course their excellent quality.

They are full of nutrients, including magnesium, potassium, vitamin Bs and starch, and offer valuable proteins, with no saturated fats whatsoever.

They are an excellent source of natural fibre which promotes healthy bowel movements and helps reduce cholesterol.
